2 IDF Reservists Arrested on Suspicion for Spying for Iran

Writer: Connor HaynesConnor Haynes

Updated: Feb 3

Two Israeli Defense Force have been arrested for suspicion for spying for Iran on the Iron dome. The two Reservists were financially motivated with the realms of one of them being paid about 2,500 dollars according to The Times of Israel. Not to downplay these actions of the highly effective Iron dome of Iseral these allegations have not been confirmed and are still under investigation.

This is the latest in similar cases in recent months. It seems that this is Iran’s backlash for the attack on the Iranian palace some months with a precision strike to the room of a Hamas official. Iran has been doing espionage for the few months and seems to be preparing for something, there is no official evidence that I could find supporting this except for the increase of incidents where Iranian spies have been apprehended. Usually with a major spy operation like this there is a purpose for this and are preparing bigger. This Incident is with the Iron dome which is vital to Isreal’s Air defensives operations.
